WebbTheo Schoon danced his way into the art and culture of Aotearoa. The Indonesian-born Dutch national arrived in Christchurch in his early twenties in 1939. He came with his family, essentially as a war-time refugee, and in the vanguard of a large wave of Dutch migration that would gain momentum in the postwar period.
