WebApril 7, 2016 at 5:23 PM. NPT looks like simple threaded hole. I need to show a 1/8 NPT on a model for a tube fitting. When using the hole command and selecting the inch NPT all I get in my model is what looks like a simple threaded hole. No taper to the threads. But in drafting the hole looks correct. Weban angle of 55° and a 1 in 16 taper. It is not interchangeable with the American NPT thread, though at the 1/2” and 3/4” size, they both have 14 threads per inch.
