WebSep 28, 2008 · One nice thing about a kickdown. If you use it with an adjustable modulator, you can make it shift where you want in Drive. I had one set up to shift at 6000 in drive. (at full throttle obviously) It shifted a little later than normal at part throttle, but I liked the chirp sound in 2nd and 3rd. :lol: 1 - 12 of 12 Posts

If you don't mind having to downshift yourself (if you even find yourself needing to), you can just leave it off.
