WebFeb 1, 2024 · That aperture at 180mm requires a lot of glass and heft for a medium format lens. The filter ring size for this lens is 86mm which is pretty large. My copy has a very smooth and easy to slide aperture ring. Focusing is smooth and firm. It is great for small focusing adjustments. WebFeb 21, 2011 · Very harsh light and freezing cold but I think I got some nice pictures. Lots och CA wide open but shootin in these conditions, through tree branches with lots of light reflected by the snow, I can't really complain. It's easy to fix in pp. Great color and sharpness. I think this lens is a keeper. Some curves applied to some images, nothing else.
