WebIf you add a hole to the bottom of the model (near the build plate) this allows air flow to normalise the pressure between the inside and outside of the model so the resin is released even though the print never left the resin vat. Like I said, this is jut what makes sense to me and could be totally wrong. WebChitubox also has an option to add holes to your models. You can place them to allow the resin to drain out and let air in. WebPoke a hole in the bottom near the build plate if you can do that on some invisible spot. Maybe orient it in such a way that it is on the bottom while resting on the stand. OR an orientation like this might solve that plus some of your other issues. It ensures that there is a air outlet at (almost) all times from the opening at the bottom. WebWhat would happen for me is that I would edit the file in notepad changing the defaultSlicerExport:fdg (*.fdg) to defaultSlicerExport:svgx (*.svgx). Then it wouldn't let me save the file in the folder (protected). So I saved it to a different folder and then moved the file to the machine folder in the Chitubox program files.

Although it looks like hollowing works, when slicing there are anomalies (random polygons) through the slices. I found it's related to the hollowing and even exported stl files opened in other slicers have similar problems. WebYou can turn that off, it's not necessary.
